The superyachts of the future

We’re about to show a selection of three future yachts with revolutionary designs that go beyond human imagination. With new technologies and cutting-edge materials, the yachting industry is evolving to meet the modern needs of the owners offering spectacular models that will blow your mind.

Bolla

The idea behind the Bolla project is to create a sustainable yacht, its shape can exploit natural resources to create its own energy. The concept was born from the desire to combine the two worlds of above the surface and below the water, the two elements of air and water that when combined together they create a bubble (bolla in Italian).

The exterior design it’s a reflection of the white houses of the Mediterranean coast. The shapes of the irregularly windows and the stern capture natural airstreams working as a sustainable supplement to the boat’s refrigeration system.

One of the many elements that make the Bolla a unique superyacht, is its own vegetable garden created inside of the central sphere with the aim of providing fresh products onboard together with other functions like the generation of a natural filter between the exterior and the interior environments.

Star

The Star superyacht, shaped like the top half on an actual star, was designed by Lobanov Design and with naval architecture from BMT Nigel Gee. With its a unique and way radical concept of futuristic yacht with a minimalistic symmetrical design, the Star measure 132 meters in length and over 60 meters in height, it is all featured by electric architecture and fully azimuth propulsion with a maximum speed of 18+kts, it also can host more than 200 guests!

A central cluster of four lifts provide access across the private yacht’s eight decks, perfect to enjoy views from the top of the tip or from the underwater viewing area.

As James Roy, the Yacht Design Director said “STAR is a tangible view of a 21st century interpretation of art and science. We are fortunate to live in an era where technology makes the delivery of bolder designs more possible – for clients who are adventurous innovators anything is truly possible”.

The street of Monaco

“The street of Monaco”, naval architecture courtesy of British firm BMT Nigel Gee, is a mega yacht concept that reflects a real floating city, a dream come true to many lovers of the exaggerated and extravagant luxury.  In fact, it will be the first billion-dollar superyacht.

This amazing superyacht of 155 meters, that can host 16 guests and 70 crew members, is inspired by the European city of Monaco, with actual streets and buildings. But if it wasn’t enough, the most amazing thing is that this jewellery of the ocean is based on the grand prix circuit and guests will be able to join a fully functional go-kart track racing like an F1 driver.

And if this is just the exterior design can you imagine the interiors? Spa, private massage suites, steam or sauna rooms and a large relaxation lounge featuring a spa pool with a Cafe Bar with giant windows offering unique under water views…these are just a hint of what the superyacht interiors would be.

As you can imagine this is a project that won’t become true until someone will invest that enormous amount of money. But dreaming is free…right?
